The report outlines global and regional distribution of jobs in renewable energy, energy as a whole, and economy-wide. The report includes global and regional employment results.
2. Environmental Entrepreneurs Clean Jobs Reports
Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) is a a national, nonpartisan group of professionals from economic sectors advocating for the protection of the environment. E2 is a partner of the Natural Resources Defense Council. E2 publishes both national and state-specific clean jobs reports yearly. Numbers in each report are extrapolated from The 2020 U.S. Energy & Employment Report (source below).
3. Annual U.S. Energy and Employment Report (USEER)
The USEER analyzes data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW). The report includes national key findings for energy and employment by industry as well as state specific reports and data. The USEER was published by the Department of Energy until publication was ceased during President Trump’s time in office. The USEER is currently produced using the same methodology, datasets and research firm that produced the reports for the DOE.
