Common Age Groups, across racial distributions, within the U.S
Pew Research Center: There was a higher proportion of 27-year-olds in the United States than individuals of any other age in 2018. For white Americans, most common age was 58. Non-Hispanic whites are significantly older than Americans because they were the “biggest population gainers” from the post-WWII baby boom, prior to the immigration of many current minority groups. *U.S ethnic & racial minority groups are typically younger than whites. *Non-Hispanic whites also composed 60% of the U.S population in 2018 and were also the “oldest of any racial or ethnic group measured by median age”
