  1. Using a Google search, I found the Science of The Total Environment journal as a preliminary database in the search engine Chrome.
  2. In this journal, I did a refined search for “COVID-19” and “disease incidence” then manually sorted through responses to find an applicable source for the US
  3. I chose to manually look through the options as to get a better understanding of what sources existed
